Marc Werner, CEO

Certified Orthotist-Prosthetist, CEO of LIO&P

Marc is an American Board Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist who has been providing care and treatment to patients throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties for over 28 years. Specializing in lower limb prosthetic devices and custom bracing, Marc is certified in all major devices and technologies including Harmony vacuum sockets, Genium Bionic Prosthetic System, C-Leg, and more. In addition to being on staff at most major hospitals, Marc provides services and training for OT's, PT's, Physiatrists, and medical students at local facilities, hospitals, and colleges. Marc spends his spare time at Yankee Stadium, manicuring his lawn, and relaxing with his schnauzers by the pool.

Karen Werner

VP of LIO&P | CEO of NSOP

Karen has worked in the Orthotics and Prosthetics field for over ten years. She has her Masters of Science in Technological Systems Management from Stony Brook University. Karen is in charge of our Human Resource and Billing Department. Besides managing the two offices, Karen loves spending time with her son and two daughters, and playing with her adorable miniature schnauzers and fluffy white bichon poodle.

Monica Rogers

Certified Orthotist

Monica is an American Board Certified and Texas Licensed Orthotist who earned her Bachelor degree in Biology at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. She then pursued her certification in Orthotics at Northwestern University. Monica has over 20 years of experience providing a wide variety of services over the years. Monica's experience consists of acute hospital care, pedorthics, and pediatric care. Her ability to speak Spanish is a helpful tool in assuring proper communication amongst patients. On a personal note, Monica loves soccer and played through college. Monica enjoys spending time with family and close friends.

Trina Gordon

Certified Prosthetist

Trina is an American Board Certified Prosthetist who has been providing care and treatment to patients in Manhattan and throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties for over 17 years. She earned her bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering at John Hopkins University. Later she received her certificate in Prosthetics from Newington, Connecticut. Trina has worked with patients in a variety of settings, - doctor's offices, nursing homes, hospitals and clinics predominantly in the geriatric population. In her spare time, Trina likes to listen to music and watch cartoons with her kids.

Donna Russo

Assistant to Marc

Donna has over 10 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant. Donna helps our company run smoothly by scheduling Marc's appointments, lectures, answering phones, and gathering physician documentation. On the weekend you can find her at either an ice rink or on a lacrosse field with her son and daughter. She is the owner of a Chinese Crested Powderpuff named Reggie, and her goal is to collect as many shoes and boots as possible.

Laurie Favaloro

Assistant to Monica

Laurie is the ray of sunshine who will greet you at our North Shore office. She has over 15 years of experience working in both the healthcare field and customer service. Her main responsibilities include verifying insurance, authorization, and scheduling appointments. On a personal note, Laurie loves to spend time with her husband, daughters, and two cats. She loves crafting and is always checking Pinterest for new dishes to try. Laurie is happy to assist you in any way.

Margaret Chiaramonte

Assistant to Trina

Margaret is the friendly face you will see when entering Long Island Orthotics & Prosthetics. Margaret has over 13 years experience in the healthcare field, specializing in insurance verification and authorizations. Margaret spends her free time with her twins and her Havanese puppy. Together, they enjoy movies, the great outdoors, and spending quality time with extended family. Margaret has also participated in a number fund raisers for Mental Health and Alzheimers.

Anna Digiovanna

Reimbursement Specialist

Anna has been a senior healthcare professional for over 15 years. Her experience as a Collections Manager in the Prosthetics and Orthotics field stems back over 5 years where she monitored the daily collection of outstanding receivables. At LIO&P/NSOP Anna works in our Accounts Receivable Department where she handles daily postings, secondary billing and reconciling patient accounts. Anna is an animal lover and has rescued many felines over the past few years.

Sean Rapp

Senior Technician

Sean has over 20 years of experience in the Orthotic and Prosthetic field. He assists in many aspects of the fitting process, manufacturing the most up-to-date technological orthotics and prosthetics. He oversees that the shop is running smoothly to keep up with deadlines. He has a strong background with the latest prosthetic devices including bionic devices, micro-processor knee units, vacuum suspension systems, cosmetic coverings. On a personal note, Sean is a car enthusiast and loves dogs. The patients enjoy his sense of humor and he keeps the office lively. He has mastered the art of brewing coffee, espresso, cappuccino, lattés.

Carlos Rivera

Technician

Carlos has over 10 years experience in the Orthotic field. He assists in many aspects of the fitting process, manufacturing the most up-to-date technological orthotics. Carlos has developed a strong background in orthotic devices including TLSOs, Spinal Orthotics, RGOs, KAFOs and AFOs. On a personal note, Carlos loves dogs, cats and is very musically diverse. In his free time, he watches the Jets, Knicks and wrestling.

David Delong

Technician Assistant

Although new to the orthotics and prosthetic field, Dave has a background/BA in Exercise Science from SUNY Cortland. To further his education, Dave is currently working on strengthening his technical skills to one day pursue a career as a CPO. His responsibilities include fabricating and repairing orthotic and prosthetic devices. In his spare time, Dave tends bar and enjoys hunting and fishing.

Charles Werner

Marketing Specialist

Charles has a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design from NYIT. He is fluent in graphic design, web design, social media management, and branding. He also has been trained in office billing and technician work. His responsibilities include managing our social media, website, branding, and fabricating orthotic and prosthetic devices. In his spare time, Charles participates in CrossFit and enjoys playing with his dogs.
